HEATHENS-Twenty One Pilots

As many of you know, I was really excited about the release of the new DC Comics movie: SUICIDE SQUAD. I've been waiting for this day since I saw the first trailer over a year ago. So a few hours before I went to watch it, I got on Facebook and a friend of mine had posted the main song of the movie. I was happy when I realized it was a song made by one of my favorite bands: Twenty One Pilots.

I love the way Twenty One Pilots mix really different rhythms in the same song. The lyrics they have with a deep message, and the fact that they don't have the need to be cursing or talking about sex like all the other singers these days. I like the fact that (as far as I've heard from them) all their lyrics are within a Godly character.

So It quite surprised me when I heard the lyrics from this new song. They were, just like my sister said: "disturbing".

I got on internet to find out the meaning of the lyrics, cause I was sure there had to be so much more into it. Something that I was missing.

And I found this really interesting video.

Now, I don't know if that's the real message from this song or not. But I really like this interpretation and I think it has a really important message for all the christians in the world.

A message against the hypocrisy that some of us christians can have. A message about what real Christ-like love means and about the importance of taking your time to get to know the people around you and really care about them.
